The Last Remaining Supercharger?

Hi All,

Have been looking into supercharger options for the is200, looks like the TTE one had good reviews but is no longer available.

Is this the only remanining option for supercharging?

But even then looks like to be still in development. Anyone lucky owners here in the past had there's supercharged and if they remember the cost?

i supercharged mine paid 2k for the kit and it was the best 2k ive ever spent...i fitted the kit myself its very easy...i done it in just over two hours....and the noise is amazing

Theres only ever been one car I know of with the Roteex kit and I wouldn't call it a finished product at all.

Thanks guys, ormi looks like you were one of the lucky ones to bag one while you still could.

Maybe I should change the title to "death of the supercharger", there doesn't seem to be anyplaces doing a decent conversion:(

sparkystav, I see you went down the turbocharging route, are turbo's for the is200 still available?

Hi mate,

There's still lots of chargers about mate, but second hand. There's a few guides for refurbish the charger itself if you look in the right place but the kits generally goon for years.

As for turbo, ikengineering on eBay sell a turbo manifold and down pipe for the IS200. Once you've got them, an inter cooler, inlet pipe, you can get whatever turbo you fancy really depends what bhp your after.

Or there's engine conversions. More money but more mental.

be warned it is pricey but it is new! and because they will not be fitting it you could possibly get it cheaper ;)
