Hi All,

Thinking of upgrading my spark plugs to some ngk iridium after reading posts here.

Can anyone who's done it before tell me which size socket I need?

Reading the posts and doing search on this forum, some say 10mm some say 12mm?

Do I need something like this:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/16MM-FLEXIBLE-SPARK-PLUG-WRENCH-13867-TOOL-10MM-TREAD-/370570068106?pt=UK_Hand_Tools_Equipment&hash=item5647b2808a

with 10mm tread?

Any advice appreciated.

Cheers.

you need a 16mm deep hexagon socket along with the extension & rachet.

easy to change on the IS model.

denso 0.7mm iridium or ngk 0.6mm iridium plugs are both great.

i prefer the IK20 denso's.

Did mine with rudimentary tools. I just taped a couple of extension bars together with the socket head to make sure I didn't leave anything down the bottom of the deep recess. 30 mins for all 6

Cheers thanks, will give it a shot when I get round to it. Decided to go for ngk's, would have liked the denso's but they seem to be almost double the price of NGK's??
