Srs Warning Light - Help Please

I have an '04 RX300 with a constantly illuminated SRS warning light - a local dealer quoted many hundreds of pounds to get behind the dash & replace the faulty electronic unit. Has anyone had this problem & if so ho did you resolve it ??......I think it's an MOT failure these days

It is part of the MOT so will fail if the light sequence is incorrect i.e it should illuminate then go out after a self test.

A very common problem is the connector under the seat coming loose or unplugged, have you or another driver adjusted the driver's seat recently?

Have a look under the seat and check this out first.
