2001 Ls430 Increase Volume Rear Parking Sensors

I'm new on here and have probably posted this in the wrong area but can anyone help please.

I bought a 2001 Ls430 last week with the premium pack, it has rear parking sensors only and not the park assist, with park assist you can easily change the volume of the sensors on the touchscreen but these rear parking sensors don't show up as an option on the touchscreen, the volume when parking is very low, is there a way of turning them up? I've had a good search for your question and cannot find a definitive answer, if you have the driver's handbook it may be worth a search through that or mention it to your dealer at the next service.

I've got a 2001 LS430 without any parking sensors. I think some of the first cars were produced without them and they were an optional extra.

Your car may be one of these and it may have been fitted with a simple after market reversing sensor kit, working off the reversing light and with a sounder in the boot. If that's the case you may be able to reposition the sounder to hear it better.

Thanks for your replies, mine has the premium pack and the parking sensors were standard fit as part of the pack, in the book it says Lexus dealer can do it for you, does anyone know a way to do it yourself? Surely it's possible!
