Satnav Disc

Hi Folks,

Am a new member having recently bought a 2007 SC430 with 12500 miles on clock.

Lovely motor - fast and comfortable and whisper quiet - Jeremy Clarkson must have had a bad day to have given it such a poor review.

Am currently achieving just over 20mpg around town and 32ish on a journey.

I have Two questions which I am hoping someone out there will know the answer to.

1. How do you eject the Satnav disc to check its part number - have taken off the plastic cover in the boot and pushed the button on the left hand side and slid it to the left - but nothing happens?

2. Does anybody know which fuse controls the cigarette lighter as it is not working - non smoker so need it for standalone equipment.

Haven't seen any others in the area (near Heathrow) and wondered if there is a local meet up for that area.

Hi,you should be able to see or locate a small black button that you press to eject the disc if i am not wrong,regarding the cigarette lighter,locate the fuse box take the cover off and on the inside of the cover you should find a list of what fuses are for what,alternatively have a look at the owners manual if you have one and it should tell you.hope this helps

try ejecting with ignition on but not fully (so car not running)works on mine

Thanks for both suggestions - much appreciated.

The only button I could see was the one I described which I pushed in and slid to the left - both with the ignition on and off - Nothing!

I've tried this too (same problem) but can't get it to eject. Any clues as to what to try?

With the ignition on press and hold the eject button and if it has a disc it will pop out,make sure you push the sliding mechanism open first as if you don't the disc won't be able to eject

Tried that several times without success.

Then.....moved button to the side and pressed it and hey- presto, success.
