Would love to make my '95 LS look a little more contemporary with some nicer alloy wheels. The ones from LS430 look great but are like hens teeth to try and find. So a couple of questions really

1) Has anyone come across after aftermarket alloys with the right fitment that look good (and not chavvy) on an LS

2) When scouring eBay etc if I search Lexus LS alloys I'll get very few. After there other brand types (Audi or whatever) that fit??

Last point, if one of my learned colleagues has some they want to part with then do please let me know. Don't mind them being scabby as long as the price is right as I know a very good local refurber.

Cheers All

hi for aftermarket wheels you need to speak to Rochford tyres as they know which ones fit.

There are very few due to the size of the callipers. I have a set of dotz racinr type r 18 inch rims that fit took me 3 sets of wheels to find ones that did.

I've been looking for OZ opera's in 17" for ages. (similar to the old AMG merc wheels from the 90's)

most 114x5 alloys with an ET35? should fit (some will need a spigot ring or machining).

the DHP 17" alloys from the mk3 & mk4? are probably the nicest OE.

I saw those ones on eBay, but my fault being vague, i mean the later chunky five spoke ones. Not sure how else to describe them

Really 'open' wheels like those Mitsi rim don't work on a heavy looking car like the LS.

You need something a bit 'sturdier' looking, like a fat 5 spoke or monoblock design.

I have these on my LS, probably a bit fussy for what you are after.

Were they expensive? Do you have a pic with them on the car? Cheers

I have one of only 2 sets of 19" Petrol Fate in the country. I got them for £300 from eBay

There are a few sets of 18" around, but the wheel was a US-market only wheel and as such are rare over here.

I've not taken any pics of my car yet.
