OK, all us RX+ drivers know it and hate it, but I have to put it down in writing .......filled my RX300 up today at Morrisons and the bill was £73.22, thats £127.9 a litre. If you filled up at BP, it would be far more, but I should not be saying that, as I have shares in BP. To be honest. This does put me off sticking with RX's, because I am not made of money. Not sure why I am posting this, probably to just vent my frustration on UK fuel prices !!! Happy motoring

How many miles would the give you roughly? ( ps, just sold my diesel ML, that took £125 to fill!!)

Well, after filling up, the computer says 310 miles to fill up, but let me stress, that is "roughly" as you appropriately put it !! Wow, £125 to fill your Merc, but I assume that as it is a diesel, the MPG should be better than petrol !!!...mmm, maybe not !!!

Probably about 250 miles to a tank then. The merc did about 350 miles and the computer told me I got 24 mpg - hah! Its all a joke really, the worlds changing and there's bu**er all we can do about it :shutit:

Feel the same mate it is over £70 to fill up my RX and really noticed cost creeping ever upwards. I average around 240-250 mile to a tank, I do mostly city commuting. Luckily I get a works fuel card, but then I pay tax on that so I am getting a double hit :tsktsk:

Well you all know what to do then don't you?

PX your RX's for Nissan Micras or a Hyundai Getz! No? Thought not!! Either way it's still cheaper than going by train. :P

I manage 300 miles before I am running on fumes, and ASDA is the cheapest (and closest to me luckily) at £1.27 a litre.......but then when I bought it I factored in the running costs.

Driving on the motorway gets me about 350ish to the tank. Would like better economy but I know I will loose out in other areas if I change the car (e.g. comfort, reliability). However, if I see a decent RX350 I may be tempted to change to that :P

I know petrol is expensive but I doubt it was that much - try £1.27.9 per litre
