Service/cambelt Change-Advice Please :-)

Recommended Posts

Hi all, I'm a newbe, and and hoping for some help/advice. My friend has just bought a 2000 IS 200 with 70k on the clock. It's in need of a service, transmission fluid and a cambelt change. As there doesn't seem to be a Haynes manual available can anyone suggest a good service manual/guidance for the car? Also is the cambelt a hard DIY job? I work on my two Jag xj6's (Xj40) and my Lexus GS, although I've never done a cambelt as it had been done on the GS when bought, and my Jags have camchains.

Many thanks,

Davidfromkernow
