Bonnet Catch - Help Please

Hi all you lucky LEXUS owners. Can anyone help me with my little problem. Pulled the lever to release the bonnet and the cable pulled out. I'm now unable to pull the cable - won't shift at all - or open the bonnet manually. Has anyone else had this problem and how did you fix it? Thanks

Which end has the cable pulled out?

If it's the bonnet release lever end inside the car get some mole grips on the cable inner wire and pull.

If it's at the bonnet catch it's not so easy you will have to try and release the catch either through the front grill or from underneath the car using a long screwdriver to lever,bear in mind there will be anti theft covers around the area which may have to be prized off to gain access.

All the above assumes the latch has not siezed up.

I'm with Steve. Hopefully it is the lever end of the cable inside the car. Gonna be tricky if the bonnet end of the cable has come adrift.
