Well, I've been a member for a couple of weeks - to ask advice on which IS I should go for - and I'm happy to say that I've picked up my 2006 IS220D Sport (MM) today. Absolutely chuffed to bits. Slightly disappointed with the preparation of the car by Lexus Sheffield and the fact that after voicing my concerns they did nothing to help rectify the problem. And they didn't even leave me with a full tank of petrol!!

Still, looking forward to many years of happy and trouble-free (touch wood!) motoring.

Standards falling at Lexus then! Depending on how quickly you wanted the car you could have walked away on the collection after voicing your concerns with "Give me a call when it's ready please". :whistling:

You're right I should've (and would've) done but living in London and having to drive 150-odd miles back with nothing to show for it after waiting 2 weeks to pick it up didn't really appeal to me.
