Make sure its steering pump 'fan belt' is tight.

Have owned a couple look out for:

rusty sills

if the Cambelt has been replaced

The head unit plays up normally the changer that fails.

alloy wheel corrosion.

 I was lucky enough to own a 2001/51 is200 manual with factory trd kit in black with full black leather. Sadly she’s no longer on the road 🥺

I bought an 03 is200 se aero 91k FSH 👍🏻 

i will be looking to add some is200 sport upgrades inc the silver pedal and footrest pads and the sill scuff trims ,and a  sport rear spoiler

I have a 2002 IS300. It goes through a lot of tyres, no-one locally can sort the geometry.

Error 1 on the CD player can be solved by using a CD cleaning disc.

It's a great car, enjoy it!

P.S. I can't speak highly enough of Osaka Newport, independent Toyota / Lexus workshop; it's in what looks like a dodgy place, but this guy is Lexus-trained, and committed to repairing problems at minimal cost.
