HI,

Great info in here on how to paint calippers im impressed so much that i have decided to paint mine.....BUT went to buy paint but couldnt pick a color.

My car is Green...Aristo vertex (gs300)...dont want to do yello or red as too ( may too "hotted up") i wanted green but no green paint any suggestions.

Also I asked the attendant for some hammerite and he looked ta me funny :)

what is hammerrite...as i asked the guy in the shop he didnt know . im in australia do we call it soemthing else... and is the over the counter calipper paint in the spray cam ok...and is engine paint ok seems to be temp tolerant.

It depends where you live...

In the UK any decent hardware store should sell it...

I'd reccomend either black calipers with white stickers.. or silver with black...

Have you done yours yet, Fidgets?

Nope been too busy posting :lol:

I'm hoping to have done them for JAE though...

It will be OK but being a spray can, you risk getting on the disks, this will cause problems with braking.

I've painted mine metalic green - the same colour as the car with silver stickers - both front and rear have been done, makes a lot of diiference to the looks of the motor

Hey there Lexman-

I'm in NZ- did mine recently with A brand called VHT-they have just released spray specifically for callipers,tho their engine enamel would do the job just as well(previous cars). I did remove the callipers to paint however...

thats the ones i saw (VHT) calliper paint

But limited in colors, maybe i should see if they can order them in....also

did u put stcikers on if so where did u get them, and how much?
