Ls430 Speakers

I have blown my centre speaker on rear parcel shelf . any advise on where i could find reasonably priced replacement or maybe a custom fit alternative .

In general does anyone know of lexus breakers in hertfordshire and london .

Hi,

I am not too sure with the LS430 but the LS400 uses an 8 inch sub woofer, You need to know the speaker diameter, the impedance and make sure you have sufficient depth to fit a replacement, are you sure it is the speaker as it may be the sub amplifier.

LS430's are a bit rare for spares but some internet breakers will do a countrywide search for you.

Once you've checked the sub amplifier, I would remove the speaker and take it along to your local car audio centre. They will be able to match a suitable alternative. Providing the new unit is clear for depth and diameter, you should be able to fit it even if you need a bit of mecano or the likes to hold it firm. This has the advantage of you knowing that you are using a new unit.
