Ive had the car a month now, when i took it in for the wheels to be replaced, the dealer gave me the visual safety report, and they had to add a litre of oil to it, and they told me the tyres were low on the rear, 3mm, (they didn't even charge for the oil, which i was amazed at), it was serviced before i bought it, so i was told?.

Also the steering wheel is off centre, so i had the alignment checked at a non lexus dealer who said it was ok, but i want it in the centre, but the local lexus dealer wants £188 to do a 4 wheel alignment and get the steering wheel straight, so ive sent the salesman who i bought it off an e-mail (the second one, as i sent him one about the oil and tyres) and hasn't replied as yet, as im not going to pay for the alignment. Should i put up with it or am i being a bit fussy, its a 57 reg with 37k.

This is on top of the fact that i had to sort out the wheels and also get the vsc sorted out, as that came on the day i picked it up, i may call lexus customer relations, as i dont think i should be chasing them.

I dont think that wanting a straight steering wheel is being fussy!

You're not being fussy, you have bought a car from them & it should be ok. It's not ok, so keep going at them until you get some joy :winky:

Ok i will, i'll give it untill this afternoon. Should i just get onto customer relations if he hasn't got back to me by then.

I'd try your dealer 1st, maybe try & talk to the manager there if you get no joy from the salesman, if no luck then go to customer relations :)

Generally managers aren't too happy if their sales team are not keeping customers happy
