If Lexus brought back the IS200/300, updated to this decade with better MPG and all the latest toys, would you buy one in preference to existing models ?

i probably would want one even if i couldnt afford one again - its a lovely design and very striking to look at - mind you i still love mk1 golf gtis and am thinking of getting another one for a project

For me, the ultimate IS would be all the new technology, engine and interior planted into the mk1 IS body- that would be one nice car...

definately, i think the interior on ours is very dated, MPG doesn't bother me too much but i would love a modern looking console

yeah the mk1 gti , used to have a convertible , they should remake that model but keep the shape as much as possible whilst giving it an updated look (whoops getting carried away !)

Would buy one straight away. As long as it had improved power plant and tech. Love the design of the is200. Still looks better than most new cars you see today and will for a lot more years to come.

Well hopefully it would take the auto box from the new IS and not the old one. The new box is nice, whereas the old one is arcaic!
