I went to one several years ago, and have been invited again this year. There's no catch. You get to spend a couple of hours driving several Lexus cars with no pressure to buy. I guess the thinking is that you'll be so impressed you'll want to buy one anyway.

I've received one this morning from Lexus Derby.

Bad news I will be away on the date so if anyone would like to take up the offer it is being held as an "Open Road" event at the Staunton Harold Estate near Ashby de la Zouch Leicestershire on 10/06/2010.

The full range including the ISF will be there to drive

This may seem like a stupid question but how do you go about getting these invites? do you have to have something done with lexus so they have you details on system for example?

Yes, I would think so. Basically, a dealership knows you exist.

be aware that some dealers sell your info, I had an invite off BMW who openly told me they bought my info from Lexus
