looking at japenese bits and bobs

have to look at altezzas

they seem to have SXE10 or GXE10 models

i thought the difference was in the engines

so why are body kits marked with either / or

They are chassis numbers. Basically:

SXE10 = 3S-GE (RS200)

GXE10 = 1G-FE (AS200/IS200)

All UK IS200 are GXE10.

I believe the IS300 uses the same chassis as the RS200 though so are SXE10 too, but I might be wrong on that last point...

Where are you looking mate? If you're looking at Japanese stuff, it's likely they'll work for both, and they might just be being lazy and just putting SXE10, but if some kits have GXE10 listed, they might be specific.

I'm not sure what the physical differences are between the two though - unless there are specific mount points that one car has over the other, but I'd be surprised...

Best send them an email perhaps?

they have some which list both nos. and some that list just one no.
