The kit's only good if you want to sit still and pose, the wheel setup on the kits is abysmal and ruins the handling of the car....

If you want a ferrari start working or buy a cheap one, autotrader starts at 12k for ferrari's (original)....

Wonder when they'll bring a BMW kit out for the IS200 ?

mst admit.. when i matched it up against my mates 550 the kit was good.. but it was the wheels that gave it away

and the interior of course.

I think even though you can buy a ferrari for 15k the reasoning behind these kits are you get the looks without the running costs and the reliabilty problems also the insurance must be cheaper .They used to do one for the capri that made it look like a ferrari testarossa .And another that made it look like a aston martin ,But i now what you mean they do look a bit pony :yack: .What you have to remember is that not all mr2 owners are as passionate about the car as you are :winky: .

I quite like the ferrari kit for the MR2, wouldn't buy one myself but I can see why people do.

Buying a real Ferrari for £12K would be a much older model, a 308 I guess and probably not an immaculate one and it would cost a fortune to run.

was a 400, 328's started at 20k....

Any Ferrari is heavy on the posket to run but at least handle as they were supposed to, MR2 Ferrari's handle like ****. Personal opinion it's the Max Muppet in a decent car....

Of course thats just my opinion....

I have to agree with you Ryan! Why waste such money....when 12K could be put towards some decent kit, wheels and a few tuning mods! You buy an MR2 because it's an MR2......

.....I'm not saying that the Ferrari kit doesn't look good though! :D
