Rust!

Checking out the drivers door on my 2001 LS430 yesterday, I was shocked to find rust!

There's four patches along the top of the moulding on the door all bubbling under the paint. I didn't expect to see that on a Lexus! :( Especially an LS.

I'm just hoping the corrosion warranty covers it or it's going to cost me some cash.

I've had some rust on the front wing and boot lid repaired under the warranty on my 2003 Camry, first appeared when it was about 3 1/2 years old.

They don't make em' like they used to.

I had rust on my 2001 LS430 on the boot lid - around teh reg plate area. Its taken 18 months to sort out with Lexus Bradford as it has had to go in twice! I will say I have had a bad experience with these dealers. The service team has been quite rude and patronising
