noticed driving away today that the calipers are rubbing against the disk a bit.

What causes this and will i need new calipers?

What makes you think this Steve?? - if the disks are binding they'll get red hot really quick - most common cause is a dodgy seal or dirty piston. You can normally get the slave cylinder reworked quite cheaply.

Hmm,

I had my pads replaced outside the dealer network and they click clack around like a bast*rd! wonder if the two things are related?

Loz :lookaround:

well.. i remember mentioning this to mat when we met in weymouth that one of my wheels was dirtier that the other.

I only noticed it today when i let the windows down to let some of the heat out of the car (i never open windows.. thats what AC is for) and you could hear the brakes making a chuffing noise.

I had the brakes pads changed about 6 weeks ago

will they free up when warm?

Yes, but only because they are so hot that they fade completely - really mate, if you've got a sticky caliper the heat will give it away. Just go for a ride around the block - try to avoid braking altogether if you can - if your caliper is hot then it's sticking
