the light were the rear view mirror is has gone, I think its the dome or map light. So I bought this.

Has anyone used this type of interior light?

What is the dome light and what is the map light?

The map light is the light closest to your rear view mirror and the dome light is at the centre of the cabin on the roof lining that can turn on when the doors open.

I bought the same LED lights from eBay about a year ago and placed in the dome light all I can say is its so bright lights up the whole car! Every single person who has got into the car comments on it and whenever I unlock the car by remote passers by make comments as the interior lights up blue.

I am unsure that this will fit in your map light as its a bit big? Maybe you can cut off what you dont need...
