Help With Terminology! :)

Recommended Posts

Hi guys I have just had my MOT and the lexus sailed through once again but on an advisroy I was told that my front tracking was in need of adjustment. Now my question is are tracking and geometry (i.e WIMing) one and the same? Or does WIMing include tracking? I'm wondering if it's time to make that trip to WIM.

Thanks

Mark

Tracking is one of the geometry settings that would be adjusted at WIM (as well as caster and camber etc). I can only assume the MOT station has spotted excessive wear on the inner edges of your front tyres.
