Hi all,

I purchased an angel eye kit on e-bay from HIDs-Direct. I went with these ones as they are reputable supplier who I also got my HID kit from a few months back.

However after 10 days they have not shown up so i called them today and......."They are not in stock, we are getting delivery in 2 weeks. But I do know that two kits are being sent back by people that dont want them"

Hmmmmm alarm bells ringing....people that dont want them? They dont exactly break the bank at £31.99 so I am wondering why 2 people want to send them back?

I got a refund for now but.....

Did anyone on here get them from HIDs-Direct?

Are you satisfied?

Or are you one of those that sent them back?

Can anyone else recommend a supplier they are completely satisfied with?

Help appreciated :-)

Hi Bill. I have only just fitted my ones I got from them. I think fitment may be the problem here for some people. The smaller ring has a bent plastic arm that looks like its meant to follow the contours of your reflectors but it does not. They can still be fitted and once in place its difficult to notice the plastic arm. I could have cut it off but did not want to accidentaly flex the ring and damage it. They dont come with a proper connector block for the wiring either, but the spade terminals will click into the existing connector so just be sure to make it waterproof. But overall I have been pleased with them. They certainly do look very good. The original BMW hoop lights look very dull in comparison to angel eyes. I should mention I'm not very handy with car repairs but these lights were reasonably easy to fit, just take your time and consider how things will look before sticking the lights to the reflectors.

I do have some pictures of the installation as I was going to write a short guide to fitting them, so will try post a couple of pictures up tonight if I can. If you do your fitting before then make sure to dry out the TWO sponges in each headlight. I missed one in the first headlight I did and have moisture on the lens again.

This picture may be a little better. Once fitted you wont see the arm unless you get close. Nobody who has looked at mine have mentioned it (unless they have very good eyesight and are being polite!)
