Big Dent In The Drivers And Offside Door.

A van managed to dent both door in my is200. Bad I know but they did leave their details Yahoo.

The car was park and got hit by a van as it tried to get round a into a tight corner so I don't think it was impacted at any great speed. (No I did not park on the corner).

However took it to the recommended repairer (recommended by their Insur Comp) and say need 2 new doors and a bottom sill. Now my query is I can clearly see the dents high up in the middle of the doors but the sill feels and looks fine.

The garage whats to replace the 2 doors and the sill. I am not convinced that the sill needs to be replaced. Should I get a second opinion as I don't want any unnecessary repairs done to my precious car.

Not broke don't fix it.

my car has been heavily vanadalised last wednesday (only owned the car for 2 weeks)

my bonnet has been keyed very badly, driver side wing, door an rear passenger door has been keyed deeply and on the passenger side of the car the two doors have been dented! i took it to an insurance approved body shop and they gave me a price of £3300! on the doors where they are dented they will not replace them but will fix it! so i suggest you take it to a bodyship where they will fix your door and the sills.
