considering the increases in petrol prices and rising running cost, its becoming quite expensive for me to run my IS300. Im swaying towards a diesel (liking the 325d M Sport Coupe at the moment). Ive never had/bought a car through a finance option(allways saved up and payed cash.) and will be looking to purchase my next car through a PCP (Personal Contract Purchase)agreement - i chose this finance option as at the end you can hand the car back or pay the balloon payment and own the car.

I just want to know what are the pro & cons off this type of finance option and do any off you know of any other companies that offer pcp? i.e. non main dealers?

i wont b changing untill early nxt year but want o do a bit off research before hand.....

Many Thanks

the pcp worked good for me on my last 220d,

i think i put down a 3k deposit and took it over 3 years but got rid early as it was an awfull car, once you reach the point you have paid 50% of the agreement including your deposit you can terminate and send the car back, this is what i did they said that i could have sold the car and paid back what was outstanding but the car was worth less than the 50% owed after 30 months.
