I just realized that my boot/trunk won't open when I pull the handle under the driver's seat  . It works fine with the key. What's wrong? Anyone can help?

Have you disabled the handle by turning the key in the lock the other way?

if you do that you can only open it with the button on the remote

:duh:

the cable may have gone off the lock mechanism.

Remove your trunk's garnishment and verify tha cable always is in the orange wheel that activate the lock.

If so, try pulling it from the trunk, if it works, it should be the handle side that has a problem.

Its sounds to me as though you've deadlocked the boot

Turn the lock from == to [] if you can understand my little diagram of the lock barrel
