Might as well as use a OEM/genuine Toyota oil filter- they only cost a tenner from Toyota/Lexus.

As for air filter, why not get a K&N air filter from eBay (cost about £36?). Best thing about the K&N filter is its a lifetime filter (meaning you don't need to replace it, you just need to clean/charge it every 50k).

not worth the risk, stick to oem oil filter for definate, air filter would advise oem or induction kit/performance filter, oem parts do not cost as much as you think for supply only. It's getting lexus to fit them which adds to the cost.

A decent quality non genuine filter from a decent motor factor will be just as good as OEM.... But OEM service parts can be surprisingly competitive in price.

defo use the OEM Toyota oil filter, it contains an anti-drain valve, and magnetic particle trap

the only other non OEM filters that i know which have the same items are Mahle filters

I used a blueprint oil filter on my car. Is that ok mat? Whats the anti drain valve all about?

the difference between the pattern parts and the copy is 12 pounds so i will go for the genuine ones

i paid €14/ £12 for a filter and drain plug seal yesterday so i wouldnt bother buying a pattern part in this case
