Standard Is200 17" Alloy

Does anyone know if Lexus still sell the original textured finished 17" alloys (that are standard with the SE and Sport) which are prone to pitting or have they changed them to the smoother finish ones that no longer having this pitting problem?

The reason I ask is because I have had an alloy replaced today through an insurance claim and Lexus have supplied a brand new wheel which has the textured finish. The new wheel isn't the same as the finish I had with the reburbished ones. I'm concerned that the new one will start to pit soon.

Thanks, Ifraz

New cars still come with the textured finish, it is the refurbished rims that are smooth. See if Lexus have any spare refurbished wheels they will swap with you, worth a try.

Thanks Johnny, will contact them later :)
