Sat Nav Cd Based Problem Lexus 1s200 2000

I HAVE A X REG (2000) LEXUS , AND I AHVE JUST COME ACROSS A PROBLEM ON M SAT NAV WHICH IS CD BASED , THE SCREEN READS PLEASE OPEN DOOR AND CHECK CD ROM DOES ANYONE KNOW THE PROBLEM. PLEASE HELP ???

I HAVE DONE THAT ALREADY , AND I HAVE EVEN TRIED ANOTHER CD AND IT STILL SAYS THE SAME THING , DO YOU THINK IT IS THE READER????

hi guys, I am a new here, of course new with is 200, dont wanna make a new thread as I can read here about navi in IS200. I am from Slovakia, Lexy is from Germany, how it is with cds and maps? has anyone some cd with maps of all EU countries?

my cds are alright , i dont think you cn get the europe cd in cd only in dvd , but in england when you want to use a european country lexus gb let you borrow one ..... the navigation is a very good thing on these cars , really help

thanx sol, but it doesn't solve my problem - I would like to use the navi in my country (Slovakia) and in some other countries I'm travelling to... Austria, Germany, Hungary, etc...

kuro phone the main lexus centre in your country and they should lend you the cd,s to other countrys where you are travelling free of charge, they do that in the uk .....
