A2dp Bluetooth Stereo?

with the release of the new Iphone firmware allowing a2dp, I was wondering if anyone has managed to get it to work in their is250....???

I just went and had a quick try but I cant get it to work...

i of course mean this for the is250/is220d's with multimedia

The MM in the IS250 doesn't support A2DP, I'm not sure but think the new RX might support it.

You could always add an extra bit of kit for it though, my car kit supports A2DP :)

how does that work? Prices? Ease to fit/cost to fit?

It sounds like something I might want to fit....details pleassseee!!!

The one I've got is THIS which I fitted myself in my is200 without too much trouble (it was somewhere around the £200 mark when I got it a few years ago)

However, now there are a few newer ones, namely the Parrot mki9200 which does all the same stuff with a colour screen and is slightly upgraded as it can support SDHC cards (whereas mine can only take SD up to 2GB)

As the IS250 has an aux input though, you might be able to get something that will be a lot more straightforward to install/use like THIS

There are quite a few different A2DP devices out there now, including those from the phone manufacturers themselves. Have a search through them on the net and then come back on here with any questions you might have :)

We over 4000 car kits a month and to be honest we have been having issues with the Parrot 9200, it works fantastic for streaming music from ipod (connects direct to car kit) but there is a 4 second delay on recieving a call and people being able to hear you, also issues when being used with ipod and making many calls it looses audio and freezes up, The Nokia ck600 works well :)
