New To The Ls4oo Cig Lighter Question

picked up the ls 400 on tuesday so many toy to get to grips with.i cant get my mobile charger working in the front cig 12 volt socket i have tryed other thing in there but doesnt seem to be any power any idea what could be wrong?

the rear on is working ok.

If the fuse is ok, also have a look in the socket at the contact in the bottom (the +ve feed) to see what state it is in, they seem to rust quite well for some reason if the GS is anything to go by.

Mine stopped working a while ago, tuned out that a small piece of paper had fallen into it and was preventing a good connection. Make sue you use a plastic tool to extract it !!!!

The fuse you need isn't in the engine bay - there's another fuse box in the driver's side footwell. I think the fuse positions are all labelled on the lid.

When I had this on my car I found that a bit of foil had got down the back of the cig lighter and was shorting out the contacts, hence the blown fuse.
