The prices don't sound a lot different from Ormi's. His didn't include VAT. And your quote was for 7L not 5L, since you need 7L for an IS200.

ahh right, I didnt know that u need 7 litres for the IS200. So as I need to change my coolant soon should I get 7 litres or 2 lots of 5 so I have some spare?

I've done a coolant change using a 5 litre can in the past (twice) and I always have spare coolant left over.

I guess I have some left over as a I have a thin core (16mm) radiator instead of a 26mm OEM radiator? Guess you only need 7 litres if you are doing a complete coolant flush (ie: flushing out the old coolant from the engine)?

hmm thats interesting. so if u wanna do a complete flush hows it done as i know its been mentioned but i'm still a bit confused on it. how much did u have left over when u used a 5 litre one kam05?

To do a complete flush I guess you would have to flush out the coolant from the engine by putting water through the cooling system. If you drain the coolant from the radiator you drain the coolant from the radiator, but there will be coolant left behind in the engine- so I guess you could flush the coolant out from the engine by putting water through the cooling system.

I don't do this, as I have read (probably on here) that water in the engine/block/radiator may cause corrosion?

When I say I have coolant left over its not much, less than a 1/3 of a litre?
