Just picked up the new June issue of Banzai magazine which has got a well sorted IS300 with a 2JZ-GTE supra engine under the hood,and thought i would let you all know if you fancy some light reading..... :D

His dash doesn't look as nice though, because he doesn't have stainless a/c rings or dash dials !

For those who don't have the mag, apparently this guy has seen 609 bhp at the rear wheels using 100-octane fuel, and 500 when using 91-octane. Billy Shea is the owner, from California.

Running 600 bhp in the states aint to bad as petrol is cheap and there are loads on wide open highways where you can totally use the power with out having to worry about pc plod.

this is true, swear monster mat's was running higher than 600 at one point? Or it may have just been chinese whispers ;)

There might have been all sorts of dubious figures quoted by TDi in the past, but I think it was doing well less than 500 until SPC Horsham got their hands on it.
