Ok guys took it to th garage and this is the code I got

P1128 Throttle Control Motor Lock Malfunction .

So what do I do now ???

did you replace the sealent on the throttle body?

check the throttle bodys clean. and then check the wiring as well.

Ok whats the throttle body

What dose it look like looked at the link but as said before

Its the bit that your induction kit or air box connects to on the inlet manifold. On the right hand side of your engine in the middle.

the bit right next to the Battery where i pipe goes from the intercooler. screw of the pipe and see from there.

try disconnecting the supercharger control wire

it may be too tight or interfering with the throttle body motor

try the simple solutions first !

And check that a foreign object has somehow not got into the throttle body - take off the pipe from the intercooler and have a look for anything stuck (and if there is something there try and get it out without letting it drop in further !).

For the throttle body, basically what happens is this. Instead of the accelerator pedal directly controlling how much the throttle opens and closes, this is controlled electronically. The accelerator pedal still have a cable going to the throttle body, but this doesn't operate the throttle directly, the input is read by the car's ECU and it then tells a motor on the throttle body how much to open/close the throttle.

Ok just trying to sort it out now.

Think I did some thing this morning to affect the working of it.

Have noticed what my mistake was.

Once i undo what I did and fix the thing I did, and take it for a test drive .

I will say what I think I did to make it not go right :nugget:

But will only say if it works :lol:

So what had you done to it ?

Ok this is what happned.

I was going over my hose clips and I tightened up the small hose on the left beside the induction kit.

And the hose clip move round a bit and stopped the throttle cable from working, you know the one with the spring at the top.

So before I noticed that I checked inside the throttle body, I pulled the cable to see inside of it, it was then that I noticed the cable not being able to work at the other side.

I am so pleased now but also feal a bit daft. :blush:
