Hi.

Just had my MOT and also had my front lower ball joints replaced, now tho' my steering wheel is not dead center (after WIM sorted it for me) having the ball joints done would they need to touched the track rods or anything?

or is it quite normal for the work i have had done to make it off center?

car drives fine but off center steering wheels is just a bit annoying to me.

I will be going to see WIM at some point to get all geo-ed up again so they can sort it for me, I was just wondering really.

Changing balljoints can have that affect since certain suspension components have moved. :)

Yep, when i changed my lower ball joints it put the steering wheel off centre. Only by 3-5 degrees but enough to irritate the hell out of the little OCD that's inside me.

Quick wheel realignment and job's a goodun.
