Has anyone seen THIS

looks very interesting, it is ment to allow you to store a key to the car without the use of a masterkey, maybe it will even set the master key!!!

that would be good or maybe have a few repersentives at either end of the country who can use it - and maybe charge few pounds to cover postage and then put £1 or somthing towards the cost and then after 120 uses (if it reaches that) it would have cost us nothing // im sure a few quid to get your keys setup is money well spent :-D

is200 doesnt use canbus system AFAIK and the 2nd one means u have to desolder the chip from the ECU so dont think many would go for that.

It says on one of those links that they'll only sell it to registered locksmiths. Does sound good but I also wonder if it's too good to be true (especially the eBay one) ?

is200 doesnt use canbus system AFAIK and the 2nd one means u have to desolder the chip from the ECU so dont think many would go for that.

Yes it does use CANBUS. to a bloody annoying degree as well if your trying to install a standalone ecu!

ah really didnt think it didnt use canbus as such must be quite a basic system as most canbus cars dont even have fuse boxes

the one for locksmiths might be slightly bit too much for i would think but the one on eBay "OBD CAN-BUS key maker programmer for Toyota and Lexus" seems very cheap and easy to setup

maybe we should wait for soneone who only has a valet key and needs a master set
