I'm Changing The Discs Do I Need To Change The Pads

Hello, my front discs on my IS200 are on their last legs. The front pads are only half worn. I've just been online to price up some discs and the website said you need to replace pads as well if you're replacing discs. Is there any reason for this or is the site just trying to get me to buy pads which I don't need? Also, anyone know the cheapest place to get discs? I've just had to fork out for the timing belt, ouch.

Yes you are better off changing both at the same time, as your old pads will be worn to the shape of your old disc's :D
