Corroded & Scuffed Wheels

Hi All.

My wheels are badly corroded and scuffed due to the previous owner, and wondered how i can repair, sand and respray the wheels myself and what kind of products would i need.

I have heard all i need to do is sand the wheel down, metal fill the bits and then repaint and possibly lacquer.

These are the 11 Spoke alloys

Thanks in advance

exactly what it says on the 3rd line sand and respray you dont have to take the rim back to bare metal just get rid of the imperfections then a good few coats of paint & lacquer if you want.

in the process of doing mine at the min stanard 5 spoke 17's

Did you hire the drills and pads? The problem is i dont have any equipment, so would have to possibly hire from somewhere. Any one know where i can hire the sort of equipment i will need. Im going to remove one wheel at a time, and try and take my time.

Thanks a lot
