Aftermarket Alarm Fitting

Hi People.

i'm taking collection of my IS200 sport next weekend (51 plate). Can't wait :D

i'm going to put in a new aftermarket alarm as soon as i get it on my drive as i'm not sure what if any security it has already.

I've fitted alarms in my old 306 / astra / focus but got all my wiring info from the directechs site which i no longer have access too, just wondering if anyone can help me out with colours and locations for -

12v constant

12v ignition

side lights to flash when armed

door / boot pins for entry sensing

central locking lock wire

central locking unlock wire.

in the old cars, most were in the kick panels in front but rather than ripping apart i thought it might be best to ask someone who might have done it already in a is200 sport.

also, where would be the best place to drill through into the engine compartment from the cabin for the siren and bonnet pin wire? again in old cars, behind the glovebox was best but i heard the is200 has an amp behind there so am not sure.

i know this is a big ask but any help or past experiance would be greatly appreciated.

regards

Neil

ahh, that would be why i didn't see a siren.

thanks mate, handy too know.

but i'm still thinking of putting an aftermarket one in, the one i had in my astra done total closure, wound up windows, turned off lights etcetc, so if anyone could still provide me with some pointers too wire locations and colours, it would be most appreciated.

thanks chaps :D
