dont shout at me peeps but i find it 10 times better than the IS. the ride is smoother inc the gear change. obviously performance out shines the Lexus by miles but also the mpg return is better too, i averaged 35mpg last night

Don't think there's anything wrong with that, to be honest I would have been surprised if you had said the 11 year old IS was better than the GTI which has only been around a few years...........have you got a manual or the DSG?

It does seem a good all round package, and that's good economy too - fuel economy is definitely one of the things the japs really need to improve with, they just don't make fuel efficient cars when compared to the germans.......

i had the TDI GT version of them for 6 months and they are good, but the quality inside was not as good as a lexus in my opinion.

But still a very good car and handle well.
