Hi,

By the end of the year im thinkin of changing my IS300 to a newer car, the IS300 being a 3.0 straight 6 its not a slow vehicle, and allways puts a smile on my face when i floor it.

im toying towards the is200d just on the basis of it being a diesel and the ability to 'Chip' the engine management to increase BHP and torque.

Has anybody done this to there IS and what have to results been?.....

i know the MPG issue on the is, but is not a issue for me as i dont do much motorway driving, even if i do my work gives me a company car to use.

if the newer shape 3 series becomes cheaper & in my price range by then ill deff consider that over the IS, but for the moment its the IS for me as 2nd hand prices on the new 3 series coupe are nearer brand new prices.
