i would stick with a 2jz engine would not go near a RB engine not a big fan of them and i my experience they can prove troublsome.

Rob if you want 300bhp plus just go for the 4.0l V8 from an Ls400 of the 4.3L that would have you at 300bhp starting with plenty of room for more power.

i hear you mate, but i really wanted to stick with the IG-FE engine and tweak that accordingly. That was my method of choice, but unless the other people i've been speaking to get back to me with reasonable figures, then its either an engine swap, or a car swap, lol!!

Just want to say that I also have a T-project with my 1G-FE engine. ;)

I thought a week about which would be the right engine/way to go...

3S-GTE/2JZ/1JZ and now I will take the 1G-FE.

Why? Because it is something special and enough power (350-400) maybe I do a 2JZ swap in 5 years...

yep, thats partly my thinking also.

what are you doing to the engine then?? JE forged rods/pistons or 1G-GTE rods/pistons?? What turbo kit are you fitting and are you fabricating manifold etc yourself??

I think he's bought RoadRash's old turbo kit mate.

Which he in turn custom made i believe.

Erm, NO, I bought Ellz T-Kit. :whistling:

It's a cast manifold with a Garrett GT2871R and 2,5" Piping.

Internals will be changed and block and head will be modified.

Also a Haltech ECU will be used.

Fuel system is already changed, but you can also read about the whole build up here: GERMAN LOC

I also have 1G-GTE rods for sale.... ;)
