Is200 Wheel Refurb, Opinions...

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

Have done a search and found some info but was wondering do you guys generally go for just a full silver wheel spray or do you go for a full on diamod cut too?

I need to get my wheels done but want the factory look, do the wheels loose their appeal if they are just painted silver all over?

Thanks

Oh has anyone used pristine wheels in Woburn?

The factory look is diamond cut I believe and looks better than the painted IMHO :)

Lexus themselves used to use either Pristine or Prestige Wheels - they've both got a very good rep on here I believe?

Thought it was usually around the 50 - 60 quid mark anyway fella?

There's also that place on eBay that does a swap out like for like?

i used the place off e-bay (pxwheels), and all the alloys were corroded again in about 4 months. Defo wouldn't use them again.

That's crap - if I was you mate I'd start a new thread warning people how bad they are as they have loads of wheels up for Lexus and it could stop other people wasting their money!

What did they say when you told them?

I did a swap with PXWheels when I replaced my alloys (this was 18 months ago). Apart from a few kerbing marks (caused by me), the finish on my alloys is still good as new- all I do is wash my alloys with normal car shampoo, I don't use any other stuff such as Wonder Wheels etc.

I would go back to PXWheels and see what they say. I've met the guy who owns PXWheels and seen his refurb unit- he is a professional at wheel refurbs.

it was on my old wheels a couple of years ago. Didn't bother saying anything, just got aftermarket instead. I must have been unlucky and got a bad batch.
