can anyone suggest anything i have a Y reg IS200. i have just been told by a neighbour that my lights are on even though i had turned them off - they were on low and the fuse was making a vibrating rattly noise this has happened before and i replaced the fuse but now its happened again - the car is workig perfectly in all other ways. the only way i can turn off lights is to remove the fuse completely.

Has this happened to anyone else at all???

Have you had your windscreen replaced recently? I've heard about this on here before, and it often happens after the screen is not replaced properly, which allows water into the headlight relays.

Either way I think the fault is with the relays, but I'm sure someone else will be along shortly to confirm, welcome to LOC btw :)

there is still no official solution to this,some people have had parts replaced (fuseboard and theft ecu) and the problem has gone,some have not.

and on the odd occasion the problem has just disappeared

The buzzing rattling noise that you can hear isn't coming from the fuse itself, that's the relay, which is in a very similar place. It indicates that you do have some sort of electrical problem going on there, as discussed in detail in the thread that I referenced.

ive got a mates is200 thats just developed the same faults as yours (",)

not sure yet, not had a look at it, will be with said vehicle at the w.end. ill let u know wot i found.
