My Journey This Morning

I had a BMW from Friday night at work that I needed to deliver to Bedford for 8am this morning.

This is what I woke up to.

I set off very slowly and had a couple of scary moments in the rear wheel drive BM.

A12, not too bad

M1 was not good, was just a couple of tracks in the snow

Then it all ground to a halt

Lane 3 was thick snow

The hard shoulder and lane 1 were also a no go further up

The M1 started to clear a bit the further up I got

The car looking very dirty when I got there just before 8am

Our office then said we had 6 more pick ups and deliveries to do this today, we said we were going home, and we did!

Good skills for making it, I just don't usually bother in the snow if I'm at home - easier to book the day off and get a pizza delivered

then again not many people have eyesight that good
