A fellow member of another forum had an attempted highjack the other night.... Things went a little bit wrong for the hijackers....

i was driving tonight with 3 mates in the car when i stopped at some traffic lights, a black BMW pulled up behind me and 2 lads jumped out and tried the handles on either side of my car. As my windows are tinted and it is nighttime they obviously could not see who was in the car.

Next minute i hear the central locking unlock and i think to myself what the hell is going on, i turn to my left hand side and my close mate Usman has opened the door and is getting out of the car.

He grabs the guy on his side and literally throws him face down on the road and then comes around the drivers side and with one swift hook completely floors the guy who is clean out on the floor.

Usman then drags both guys to their car and takes the keys out of the ignition and drops them down the nearest grid, takes photographs of their faces and tells them if he ever sees them again it will be the last time.

after this we drove off leaving the lads and the car. i wonder if they have got their keys out of the grid yet and it is raining too

Saw that over on the MKIV forums, Usman is massive!

Fair play, think they may have to pull the pics down if they haven't already just so some scumbags can't use it for retribution.

Chris (The Don) had the right idea when he carried the baseball bat at the side of his drivers seat in case needed for something like this - it's just absolute hanging spherical objects that if you hit them as they're trying to nick your car then you risk being the one getting in trouble for it!

i would take whatever it takes to protect me, my family and my property, its simple as that, always keep something under your car seat and in your bedroom, thats a must

Problem is if the police pull you with a "weapon" by the seat they'll do you for it.

Good result for them guys though

Yeah but if I've got a baseball in the glovebox then I'm just having a knockabout - that tip also from Chris :winky:

Me and my mates have been told by a policeman not to carry weapons in the car as you run the risk of getting into trouble with the law!

What they did say though is that you should have one of the LARGE metal maglights in the car, he said that they can also be used as a torch then as well! :whistling::lol:

:D

Good point actually, I do need a new torch as I've lost my mini Maglite!

Don't know who Usman is, but he sounds like someone not to mess with! What a guy!

Is he any relation to:

The pics were not far off mate, he's into his bodybuilding and is a big lad! I'd say bigger than Mr T!

You might need to recruit that guy next time you're selling a car Anees........ :whistling:

Seriously though, that sounds pretty impressive and glad they taught those f :tsktsk: s a lesson..........

I was furious for ages after my car got nicked, still think it's better to let them take the car if there's ever no way out (obviously in this case they had the option to just drive away, but chose to "lay the smack down" instead)
