I quite like the look of the Sussex grey leather trim but was wondering how well this worn over time. Anyone with any long term experiences. Im especially interested in any discolourations or wear around the drivers bolsters?

Thanks

I think our RX has Grey Sussex Leather (perforated) and it has aged very well. We have owned our RX for 6 years old now and apart from a wear on the drivers seat - which is disappointing but more to do with the bolsters than the leather - it has fared very well. I don't think I have seen 'bad' leather in a Lexus yet.

I have Sussex leather in mine, and like its look too :) car more than 1 year old, 20K miles done so far and no problems at all, looks as new. I wear mainly jeans and no signs of blue on my seat.

I cleaned it just twice during car exploitation using some Supagard stuff.

I think alot depends on how they are looked after- I take care to get into my car without sliding over the bolsters, and they aren't worn to speak of, certainly compared to other 41k mile cars.

Conditioning the leather from time to time helps too.
