Sorry to bring this up again, but while searching for the robocopy gui (trying to work it without it isn't something I can do!) I came across another Microsoft tool called Synctoy.

Do you guys know what the differences are between the two of them? They both seem to have the same purpose but synctoy looks a lot easier to use so if it'll do everything I want it to do then I may just use that instead :)

Looks like a newer GUI tool - should also do exactly what you're after though via the synchronise option :)

Will have to give that one a whirl sometime!

Cheers Aido, will give that one a go then first as robocopy looks a bit daunting to a novice like me!

I seem to remember reading an article about Synctoy that pointed out that it seemed to have some flaws. Will see if I can dig out the article.
