Ls430 Refurb, Vs Buying Wheels

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I have standard lexus wheels, with 225\55\17 Dunlop SP Sports 270 tyres.

The wheels are slightly scuffed, and I want to get the car looking perfect for resale. I also need \ want to replace the tyres, as per my last service.

So my question is, do I

1 get the existing wheels refurbed, and buy 4 new tyres, OR

2 buy a set of genuine wheels from someone off a forum (here, eBay, etc).

3 I've seen what looks like a swap out facility on eBay which seems ok. Around £250 for 4 wheels, and you send yours back to them.

I want the car to be completely genuine as per factory, because I'll be selling it in a short while to head back to Sydney.

If anyone is offering any GENUINE wheels for sale, I can be contacted through PM.

Thanks,

Rob

Hi

Got mine refurbished by Lexus on a replacement basis, £60 a wheel + fitting and balancing and you get a Lexus receipt for them to keep things original.

Unfortunately the SP sport 270 tyre is no longer made.
