Geomtry Done :-)

Hi guys, finally got my geomtry done yesterday. Found a guy near me who specialises in car set-up's for track day etc. He used the geomtry set-up provided from the very helpful Mr Tony Bones from WIM. The guy said it was out quite a bit and that it may have walloped the kerb at some point ( honest, wasnt me ) To be honest, i cant really feel any difference, should their be a big difference ? or was i just expecting to much.

Cheers, Tommy

I'd be more interested in how the insides of the front tyre wear now that you've had the geometry done.

True mate, i'll be keeping an eye on them. The guy said iv'e to take the car back in 2 weeks to make sure it's settled.

Nice one matey, If you have the print out? post it up and Tony will be able to make sure its all good? :D

Thats the thing Az, he didnt have it hooked up to any machine, looked as if he was doing it manually, with things attached to the wheels, hope i didnt get bumped. :o , dont think so thou, he's a reputable buisness that does all sorts, suspension set-up etc, he deals mostly with Japaneese motors. He actually knew about the Lexus set-up being wrong and did another is200 last week, he seemed very versed on the subject. Anyway, i'll soon know if my tyres start wearing on the front inside. Should i feel any difference Az ? the car felt really good before anyway, ie no pulling to oneside, no wobbly stering etc.

I would of thought you should notice it corners better than before and is more precise when you turn into a corner?

Mine before i went to Tony was terrible, it used to float all over the place at speed, slide round islands at low speed, never had any pulling or wobbly steering just very un-settled all the time :o Now its very sharp and precise no floaty feeling at speed and when i go into a bend or an island it stays where i point it :D Just like driving a different car :)
